Surf Boats

Surf Boats is a challenging and exciting sport. Crews consist of four competitors in addition to a sweep who leads and steers the boat. The event involves a start off the beach, paddling around a buoy, and returning to shore through the surf zone.

Crews consistently train together, developing a strong sense of camaraderie and long-lasting friendships. Training times are scheduled around the availabilities of the sweep and crew members.

The Surf Boats section welcomes competitors of all abilities and fitness levels over 15 years of age. The club currently has several masters crews consisting of competitors aged 40 and above.
