Our gym sits overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean at City Beach. It is the perfect place for gym goers and beach lovers to come together and we’re open 5am to 9pm every day of the year.  And what’s better than a post workout swim at the beach?

While our location is fantastic and our equipment is state of art, our members are our pride and joy. Life members of the club and new members alike come together to create a positive and friendly atmosphere in the gym, everyone is welcome. 

Our gym has memberships available for surf life saving members, general parents of the nipper program, and community members. For those interested in becoming gym members without the commitment of patrolling the beach, you fall under our community member.

A 45 minute yoga class, Namaste!

It is encouraged to let the trainer know if you have any injuries or medical conditions. It’s also a good idea to bring a towel and water bottle to class. Feel free to bring your Yoga mat to the mobility flow class.

Our club also offers additional services to gym members at a discounted rate:

  • Personal Training – A fantastic way to kick start your training or gain some extra motivation.
  • Tailored Training Programming – Learn something new with a tailored program to help you achieve your goals. This includes 3 PT sessions to take you through your new workout regime.

How much does it cost?
Which membership is right for me?
If you’re just after gym access then the associate membership option is for you.  There are different options for you to choose – 12 months, 6 months or 3 months.

If you’re looking to be actively involved in the club then please see “tell them where to go” for more details. Active members are required to complete 16 hours of beach patrol per season and must have their bronze medallion.

What are the opening hours for the gym?
Our gym is open from 5am until 9pm. Once you are a member you will receive your electronic access band. Buzz yourself in and get started!
What’s the minimum commitment?
We offer 1 time payments of 3, 6 or 12 months. If you would like to do a recurring monthly direct debit, we have a minimum commitment of 3 months. We also require 30 days of notice before cancelling the direct debit.
Can I have a trial session or bring a friend?
You sure can! We offer single gym trails so you can have check out the gym and try all the equipment. All we ask is you sign our waiver form. If you would like a free trail head into reception between 9am – 2pm on weekdays or 9am-12pm on a Saturday.
How old do I have to be?
We require our members to be 16 or older. Those under 18 need signed permission from a parent or legal guardian.
I’ve never used a gym before is that okay?
Of course! We are a friendly community at City of Perth SLSC so you’ll feel right at home. If you would like some direction on where to get started, consider a program. Check out the programming tab for more info.
Are there any free workout programs?
Yes. We offer a free standard 4 week strength program to give you some direction.
I broke / lost my access band. What do I do?
You can get a replacement band at Reception for $20.
