The City of Perth Surf Life Saving Club is a volunteer-based, not-for-profit community organisation and proudly forms part of the frontline of beach safety in Western Australia.
As a member of the broader Surf Life Saving movement, we deliver vital rescue, education, and prevention services at City Beach and play an essential role in creating a safer, healthier and more connected community.
While Surf Life Saving WA employs a small team of permanent staff and seasonal lifeguards, it’s volunteers who are the heart of our club. From patrolling our beaches and training the next generation of surf lifesavers, to helping with fundraising, administration, events or maintenance—there’s a role for everyone.
Whether you’re passionate about surf safety, youth mentoring, fitness or just want to give back to your community, we’d love to have you on board.
Ways you can get involved:
- Become a volunteer surf lifesaver.
- Assist with club events and fundraising.
- Support junior programs and youth development.
- Help with gear maintenance or administration.
- Join as a social member or sponsor.
No surf experience? No problem. We provide all the training you need.
