City of Perth Surf Life Saving Club is a proud, family-friendly club offering inclusive training and competition opportunities for all age groups — from Nippers to Cadets and Seniors.

    Nippers
    (Surfguard category: Junior Activity Member 6 to 13 years)
    • Age groups from Under 6 to Under 13 (as of 30 September each season).
    • Age groups determined by age.
    • Nippers learn Beach Safety & Life Saving concepts in a fun environment. 
    • All Nipper membership applications must be accompanied by a General Parent membership application or a parent who is already a club member.

    • No qualifications or awards are required to assist with Nipper BBQ, set up or non-water based activities.
    • If you want to be actively involved assisting with Nipper activities and water safety, a Nipper Rescue Certificate or Bronze Medallion is required.
    • All General Parent membership applications must be accompanied by a Nipper membership application.

Please note, for your child(ren) to participate in Nippers there must be at least ONE General Parent per family registered. The registered General Parent will receive ONE fob for access to the club rooms outside of Nipper session times. Please visit our reception to request your fob access band or key tag. Please remember that Nippers must be supervised by parents at all times.
